Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

These terms govern use of this website and the supply of the GolfSec Pro service by GolfSec Ltd (company number 17166847, registered office Floor 1, Room 1, 10-12 East Parade, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 2BH), referred to below as "we" or "GolfSec". "You" means the golf club or organisation subscribing to the service.

1. Using this website

The content of this website is provided for general information. We take care to keep it accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or current. Content, branding and design on this site belong to GolfSec Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or use it in any way that damages or impairs it.

2. The service

GolfSec Pro is a monthly managed cyber security service for golf clubs. It comprises:

  • Onboarding and discovery of your club's systems
  • A risk baseline assessment
  • Ongoing monitoring and oversight
  • Security-awareness training for your staff
  • Endpoint anti-virus protection
  • Regular reporting and ongoing support

The precise scope, including the number of devices and staff covered, is agreed with you during onboarding and confirmed in writing.

3. What the service does not do

This section matters, so we have put it plainly. No cyber security service can guarantee that an organisation will not suffer a security incident. GolfSec reduces risk, improves visibility and shortens response times. It does not make your club immune to attack, and we do not warrant that it will prevent every incident, breach or loss.

The service is not insurance, and it is not a substitute for cyber insurance. It does not include incident response, forensic investigation or data recovery unless separately agreed in writing. Responsibility for your club's own systems, backups, and the decisions you take on our advice remains yours.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about your systems, devices and staff, and tell us when it changes.
  • Allow us the access we reasonably need to deliver the service.
  • Make sure you are entitled to give us that access, and that enrolling your staff in training is permitted under your own policies.
  • Act on the recommendations we make, or accept the risk of not doing so.

5. Charges and payment

GolfSec Pro is charged at £99 per month. There is no setup fee. Payment is collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless Ltd. Your Direct Debit is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, and GoCardless will confirm the amount and collection dates in writing before collecting.

If a payment fails we will contact you to arrange collection. We may suspend the service where payment remains outstanding, after telling you first.

We may change the price. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice in writing, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Cancellation

There is no minimum term. You may cancel at any time by contacting us at info@golfsec.co.uk. The service continues to the end of the period you have paid for, after which billing stops and no further collections are taken. Monthly charges already collected are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.

On cancellation we will withdraw the software deployed to your systems and confirm when this is complete. We may suspend or end the service if you breach these terms materially and do not put it right within a reasonable time of being asked.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited in aggregate to the charges you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

8. Data protection

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice. Where we process personal data on your behalf in delivering the service, we do so on your documented instructions and under appropriate contractual terms.

9. General

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you as a customer we will give you reasonable notice. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
